A Flutter app with two engines — personal money tracking and small-business invoicing — backed by one API and an admin panel.
FinTrack is built around a "double engine". The Individual engine covers transactions, budgets with alert thresholds, savings goals and spending analytics. The Business engine adds invoices with line items, tax and status tracking, client profiles with outstanding balances, vendor-linked expenses, team and payroll, P&L and GST/tax reports. Both run on a single TypeScript + Express API over PostgreSQL (Prisma). The Flutter app picks its tab layout and screens from the account type at sign-in, and a React admin panel tracks users, subscriptions, MRR and plan mix for both engines side by side.
One codebase now serves two markets. A freelancer and a growing company use the same app, each seeing only the tools they need, while the business behind it watches revenue from both sides in one dashboard. Shared auth, billing and admin mean a new feature only has to be built once.
